Morgan Spurlock went on a hunt, he wanted to wanted to raise 1.5 million dollars to fund THE GREATEST MOVIE EVER SOLD which featured the greatest products ever sold. With idea there would basically be no need for advertising so the official market for the products that were included in the movie do not need to be advertised in any way, this actually helps the companies in saving tons of money since they don’t have to pay advertising companies anymore. Saying this shows that companies will jump directly and try to fund this movie, but that was not the case. A lot of these companies were scared because there was no official documents that said that this movie is going to be a success, and the companies themselves had no word in how their products are going to be presented, so that was the downfall of the movie. After a lot of persuasion and effort from Morgan Spulocks side, he was able to convince 17 different companies in funding his movie which had insurmountable success without any advertising which is basically the whole point of the movie.
I don’t mean to be disrespectful but i completely disagree with your theory. Having a curfew at 12 or 1 is very reasonable. The university was able to find a time between lateness and earliness. If they exceeded the time to more than 1 everyone is going to come late and be exhausted they will eventually end up missing a lot of their classes which is every universities nightmare. If you really think about it a 1 o’clock curfew is pretty good , let’s calculate a schedule : leave campus at 6:30 reach Emirate’s mall at 7:15 , movie starts at 7:30 and then it finishes at 9:30 after all that action you need some time to relax so you decide to go and have some shisha , since you know you have a 1 o’clock curfew you can go to a cafe that is in Emirates mall or close by, you sit and enjoy some dinner with your shisha. After a while you’ll notice that it’s 12:15 , you then get a cab and leave , you then reach AUS in no time since it’s late and there isn’t a lot of cars in the streets. You get there at 12:45 with 15 minutes to spare !! So don’t be greedy and enjoy your freedom because from what I’ve heard other universities in the middle east have more strict rules and curfews …
Everyone has the idea in their heads that if they eat salad they would either lose weight or stay the same. You will be shocked by the amount of people that gain weight from eating salads, i’m not talking about your typical cucumber and tomato salad , i’m talking about salads the are filled with fatty dressing which contain hundreds of invisible calories.
A teaspoon of simple ranch dressing contains 148 calories so imagine how much does a whole plate of salad that is filled with dressing contain? A lot is the answer !! Eating salad that is filled with dressing is not the rite answer to losing weight … Eating salad that has little or no dressing at all will help you lose weight …

Walking through the Lebanese airport never fails to thrill and excite me. After graduating High School i immediately got on a plane and went back to the place where i always knew i belonged. Countless people were on the plane, every single seat was filled with fathers , mothers and their children. The energy from the people around me was lifting my mood to the sky (literally). As i scanned through the selection of movies i notice some one staring at me, i debated with myself whether i should say something or just ignore but since i like to talk, i asked the person next to me if their was something wrong ? As it turned out that she was bored and wanted me to entertain her , i know that seems pretty blunt of her to say but that’s what made me want to talk to her. Amy and i talked endlessly about everything and nothing , we noticed how the wing of the plane has the Lebanese flag on it, how the clouds look beautiful. As the plane got lower we noticed how the ocean looks endless , like nothing in the world is at the end of it, simply the end , such a topic raised a lot of debate. We laughed at peoples conversations, and got disgusted by the look and smell of the horrible airplane food, thank God for the fruity jelly beans that i bought from the busy Duty Free or else we would have starved to death , savoring every least bit of taste it gave before we eventually drifted to sleep.
Waking up to the captains voice telling me that we have arrived is the best feeling in the world. I made the now memorized phone call to my mom telling her that i arrived safely as Amy did the same. We then got our bags said our goodbyes and reached the door to see a huge amount of people waiting , all expecting their loved ones to appear any second now. I scanned the crowed until i saw my grandma and grandpa waving their hands at me and smiling like there’s no tomorrow, i reached out and gave them the biggest hug i can manage to give and i can taste the silent tears falling down my face, i didn’t realize i was crying until i tasted the salty water in my mouth. As i continued hugging them i knew that i finally arrived to my destination, i knew that i finally arrived Home … 😀
Music is everywhere , whether it’s a simple tune or a full on rock and roll song. All of which have an effect on our lives. Music especially songs can apply to everyday situations , every song has a different meaning and if you listen carefully to the lyrics being sung you can apply it to your life and have it built in your brain with a memory that took place.
When i listen to music i let it consume me and i am not talking about crappy music like Ke$has songs , i am talking about deep music with meaning that hit you to the cord. You may say i am exaggerating but if you think about it you may notice that a type of music calms you down when you’re angry or another type gets you hyper , the list goes on and on since their are so many types of music genres.

A lot of people have a misconception about what diets are really about , i mean sure it’s about losing weight but what most people don’t know is that , a diet is a lifestyle , a way of living not depriving yourself from food, because that would lead to a lot of consequences .
Eat food = gain weight ; Don’t eat food = lose weight .. that’s exactly what people base there diets on nowadays and that shows how uneducated these people are . When you don’t eat the fat cells in your body think that they are starving, therefore they send messages to your metabolism asking them to slow down the reaction which will eventually make you gain weight. who would of thought not eating will make you gain weight ?!
To have a perfect diet that will work , you need to work hard physically(exercise) and mentally. You don’t lose weight overnight , you need to work hard and understand that this a lifestyle. All the actions that you normally do in a day whether it’s choosing which cereal to eat from or how long should your walk be .. Everything that you do will be part of your diet and that is how you lose weight ..

What they did to Muammar Qaddafi was cruel and inhumane in so many ways . I mean we all agree that he was a bad guy but that doesn’t give the people permission to just attack him and kill him with their bare hands , God should be the one who decides what happens to him not us . By killing him , the people of his country proved that they are exactly like him so why does he deserve to die and not them ?! After reading what “lamachab” has said , i directly went and saw the video . I was appalled and disgusted by what the people did , i didn’t believe such human behavior was out there in the world until now …
I think they should have let life take it’s courses , because everyone was going to get their punishment eventually …Lets just see how their new present is going to be , am sure they are going to wish they hadn’t done it .

After reading both articles I immediately felt ashamed since I was doing the same thing which is mixing the Arabic language and with many other languages especially English together . But who can really blame us ? wherever we go we see the people interacting in English whether it was in the malls , at schools and universities or any other place.
I completely agree with both of the articles . Because i feel that pidginising ( mixing Arabic with other languages) is affecting us any many ways , people nowadays choose to speak certain words in English because they are used to it and therefore it is easier than speaking their native language , the one that they have been using their whole lives and the one they said their first words in , which is Arabic.
As Haitham Sarhan said : Some young people look down on Arabic language , they think that it is old and that English represents life and desires. If this trend continues to carry on the Arabic language can be in big danger. Teenagers choose to speak in English because they feel that it’s an easier way to communicate the ‘heavy stuff’ that are hard to say in Arabic .
I think that teenagers use English as an escape from the ARAB world and as an escape from traditions and values , because for those few seconds that they speak it they feel like they are different people with no limits and restrictions .
Men,women, teenagers and children of the Arab world should all be proud that they are speaking the language of the ‘QUR’AN’ . They should cherish the Arabic language because it takes them back to their routes … I am going to start by myself , no more mixing Arabic and English , only pure Arabic unless i was in a class which required me to speak in English ….
I completely agree with shahadme because i have experienced this firsthand. I tried to turn myself into something i am not , which got me depressed and made me forget about achieving things for myself . As shahadme mentioned , you can only fulfill your dreams is when you truly know and understand yourself , don’t be afraid to let your true colors shine . Your personality is what is important in the big picture , if you show that you are showing who you truly are as a person so by doing so you can continue with your journey to achieve success and be the best version of yourself because that’s what will eventually make you happy.
Hiding who are wont do you any good , it will only bring you further down . Do not shadow someone else or pretend to be something you’re not because that wont allow you to proceed into the future neither would let you achieve your goals and be the best that you can be .
Trust yourself to be happy and free yourself from any doubts … Be your OWN …

Written by Stephanie Meyer , The Twilight Saga are one of the most popular and sold books all over the world. They have been praised by many different important organizations , won a lot of awards and most importantly they have been on New York Timed best sellers list for all of the books.
For those who don’t know anything about the books , Stephanie Meyer once had a dream about vampires and although she had a million things to do , she decided to start writing a book which ended up being called Twilight , followed by New Moon, Eclipse and then Breaking Dawn . They all follow a life of this teenage girl that moved to a small town called Forks and there she met the love of her life but unfortunately he was a vampire called Edward. Their was a lot of obstacles in their way , such as an evil vampire group who wanted to kill Bella (the lead character) but their love survived .The cool thing about the Cullen family (Edwards family) is that they are all vegetarians which means they do not feed on human blood , so that make them good vampires rite ? So many other big events took place but i am not going to ruin the books for those who didn’t read them yet and trust me DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIES FIRST !
The Twilight Saga became a screenplay which played in theaters wold wide , although the movies didn’t do the books any justice because of poor casting , the movie grossed hundreds of millions of dollars . Breaking Dawn the last part and it has been split into 2 parts and the first one is coming out in November and i am wishing that it’s going to be as a great as the book because i was really disappointed by the first 3 movies !!
I think that i forgot to mention that their are HOT Werewolves as well … That’s ought to get you excited ..
